廣東銀幣又稱廣東省造銀元。泛指廣東鑄錢廠生產的各種面值銀元。廣東鑄錢廠原為廣東錢局，後改為戶部轄度支部造幣廠廣東分廠。由光緒年間開始生產銀幣一直到民國年間生產了數十種不同面值的銀元和銀幣。
銀元起源於15世紀，始鑄於歐洲，俗稱“洋錢”、“花邊錢”或“大洋”，是銀鑄幣的通稱，是世界上銀本位制國家的主要流通貨幣，大約在16世紀，銀元流入我國。1890年（光緒16年）官方開始正式鑄造銀元，民國時期建立銀本位貨幣制度以後，也以銀元作為主要流通幣。銀元是近代幣收藏的重要幣種之一。

正反面：珠圈內鐫漢文和滿文“光緒元寶”字樣，上緣書寫“廣東省造”四字，下鐫“庫平七錢二分”六字，兩旁長壽花，內齒清晰無連齒，並齒的情況，線條清晰分明，字型為瘦金體，極其精美，為早期版本，十分稀有。
此幣正反面圖案字型一致，為合面版，是製作時上下模板錯誤導致，屬於錯版性質，極為罕見，為錢幣收藏之奇珍。
