五米巨蟒在地鐵站附近被捕獲
Officers bring a giant python to a transfer station in Baishizhou, Nanshan District, on Tuesday. Workers at the construction site near Hongshuwan South Station in Nanshan found a 5-meter-long python weighing about 30 kilograms Tuesday. The community emer- gency office under Shahe Subdistrict, police officers and staffers from Shenzhen Wildlife Rescue and Protection Center then took the python, a level-II State protected species, to safety and conducted a health check. The python will be released to the wild after a clean bill of health.

暖陽下的古瑤寨
THE largest, oldest and best-preserved village of the Yao minority ethnic group, Nang-ang Thousand-year Yao Village in the city of Qingyuan, Guangdong Province was built on limestone （石灰岩）hills, around 800 meters above sea level. Built over 1,000 years ago during the Song Dynasty (960-1279), the village covers an area of 11 hectares（公頃） with its well-arranged houses and intertwining flagstone roads（石板路）. During its peak, the village consisted of over 700 houses, 1,000 households and 7,000 people.
